Juan and I met in college at Cal Poly Pomona. I knew him through a classmate and often saw him studying at the library. He'd be studying and have a soccer ball at his side the entire time. We never spoke to each other then but none-the-less, it is how we met. It was about three years after we first met that we started speaking to each other. It all started because my classmate, who is Juan's good friend, told me about Juan and how Juan and I should go out sometime. The story of how long it took for us to actually get together can be discussed another time. In any case, we met again, just the two of us, and hit it off from the start. We've now been together for about 3 years and love one another very much.

Our wedding will take place in the Imperial Valley. It will be a traditional Mexican wedding, that is, a traditional valley wedding. It'll consist of a ceremony at St. Margaret Mary church in Brawley following with a reception at Stockman's Club.
Our honeymoon will take place a few days after the wedding where we'll be going on an eight day Eastern Carribean cruise.

Due to limited choices of hotels in Brawley, the hotel that will be giving a discount for the wedding is the Brawley Inn. The Brawley Inn is located two blocks from the reception hall so nobody will have to think about drinking and driving.

We are very excited to share this special day with you. We hope all will be able to attend.
