It was Valerie's Niece Chloe's Mom's 21st Birthday. She had gone to Oceanside, where they lived, to celebrate with her on the Second weekend of May 2012. That was when she first met Tristan. She thought he was cute and loved his eyes, but thought nothing more of it. Then in early June Valerie moved out to Oceanside to be a Nanny for Tina, a High School Bestie who just moved out there. While taking care of her two Awesome Minis they met again. They are both childish and immature so had a great time getting to know one another over the next few weeks. Then on July 2nd Tristan asked very nervously, if Valerie would be his Girlfriend in which her response was Really?? Mmmm... I guess :D

Over the course of the next few month's they were Inseparable. Their first date was Boomers where they played Mini Golf: She Won, Go Carts: He won (but cheated), and Batting Cages: She won again and then had dinner at the Macaronni Grill so she could draw on the tables. Spoiled from Day One, Tristan would come over on his Lunch breaks where she had prepared him a meal. Their time together was consumed by a trip to Palm Springs where they went Hiking, Video Games, Going to the Beach, Watching Anime, Going to the Movies, and Thanks to Tristan playing Magic. On weekends they would go visit her Parent's in Norwalk, and slowly he met other memebers of Valerie's Family. Then in November they went to Kansas for his sister Sarena's Wedding. That was when Valerie got to meet Tristan's Family for the first time, who until then she had only spoken to on the Phone.

The Proposal, like their Relationship, was nothing but Childish. He had asked her Dad Anthony for permission to Marry Valerie. Then took her one day to the Mall to look at Rings. After looking around a bit, she knew which one she was in Love with. As leaving the Mall, Tristan pulls her back towards the store telling her we are getting this NOW!!! She started laughing and told him No because she could not be with him when he bought it. She thought it was him being funny, until they went back and he purchased the ring. They were with her Parent's that weekend, and he told her she could not have the Ring yet. He then proceeded to hide it in her Parent's home. She asked if she found it did she get to keep it, Tristan said No, that he would just hide it again.

For three days he continuously asked her... Did you find it yet? You really do not know where it is?? Are you looking for it??? As inpatient as Valerie is she pouted like a 5 year old the whole time. Then as they were on the Couch watching South Park with her Parent's he asked:

Are you sure you Love me?

       *Hmmmpffff ... Pouty Face*

Are you sure you want to Marry me?

*Sticks out Tongue and makes a scrunchie face*

That is not an answer.. So do you?

       No!!! Maybe, we will see.

Really? So.... I guess you don't want this? *Dangles ring over Face*

       Eeeeeeeeee... YAY!!!!!

So after three long days of him torturing her, which he said he dabated on a much longer time frame, they were Engaged.

Tristan and Valerie celebrated an Early Christmas with Valerie's Family, then they drove to Kansas to surprise Tristan's Family who was not expecting them until after Christmas. Once the New Year passed they then drove to Saint Louise and Pittsburgh before heading to their New Home of Chicopee Massachusetts. Now that they have had time to settle in with their Fur Babies, Kolohe and Kenchin, things have been progressing wonderfully. Tristan enjoys working at the MEP Station where he does Medical Evaluations for New Recruits and those trying to Enlist. Valerie has been keeping busy with Wedding Preparations.
